Experience a gentle, restorative practice designed to melt away stress and awaken your inner calm. In this soothing Qigong class, you'll learn Yin Yang Medical Qigong, the Eight Pieces of Brocade, and the fluid, serpent-like movements of Swimming Dragon Qigong–a mesmerizing flow that boosts metabolism, increases spinal flexibility, and harmonizes mind, body, and breath. The class begins with Whole Body Breathing to help you center yourself and wraps up with a rejuvenating self-massage. Perfect for beginners, this tranquil exercise promotes flexibility, strength, and a serene mind. Breathe in, let go, and flow into a healthier, happier you.
This class is appropriate for ages 18+.
This class will take place at The Assisi Institute, located at 1400 N Winton Road, Rochester, NY 14609.
If you would like to request a sign language interpreter, will be attending class with an aide, or have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc), please fill out our contact form.
Class ticket purchases are non-refundable for any reason. A transfer into a different class of equal or greater value may be granted if requested at least 72 hours prior to the class date. Students are always welcome to have someone attend in their place, too!
While we know this is not always ideal, as a small business this is the only way we can ensure our teachers are paid for their time and supplies and our venues are paid rent for their space. We appreciate your support!
