Always saying “yes” can leave you feeling stretched thin, drained, and disconnected from yourself. In this thoughtful and empowering workshop, you’ll explore how setting healthy boundaries can create more peace, confidence, and balance in your everyday life. Through guided reflection and supportive conversation, you’ll learn how to recognize what’s draining your energy and practice communicating your needs with clarity and self-respect. This class isn’t about shutting people out—it’s about discovering that saying “no” can be kind, grounded, and deeply empowering. Leave with practical tools, fresh perspective, and permission to protect your peace.
This class is appropriate for ages 18+.
This class will take place at The Assisi Institute, located at 1400 N Winton Road, Rochester, NY 14609. Please park in The Assisi Institute main entrance parking lot, opposite the intersection of Hurstbourne Rd. From the main entrance, take an immediate left into The Assisi Institute’s main lot, directly in front of the building. You will see a purple Yoga banner.
If you would like to request a sign language interpreter, will be attending class with an aide, or have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc), please fill out our contact form.
Class ticket purchases are non-refundable for any reason. A transfer into a different class of equal or greater value may be granted if requested at least 72 hours prior to the class date. Students are always welcome to have someone attend in their place, too!
While we know this is not always ideal, as a small business this is the only way we can ensure our teachers are paid for their time and supplies and our venues are paid rent for their space. We appreciate your support!
