Stop 1: Rochester By Water, Riverie Tour Boat
280 Exchange Blvd Rochester NY 14608
Start your day on Riverie, Rochester's downtown tour boat, savoring the lush landscapes of the Genesee River as you cruise south past the University of Rochester, through Genesee Valley Park, and into the intersection of the Erie Canal. As you relax on the water, live narration will reveal the stories of how these historic waterways shaped our community. Your cruise ends with a spectacular view of Rochester’s skyline as you’ve never seen it before.
Stop 2: National Susan B Anthony Museum & House
17 Madison Street Rochester NY 14608
Once your cruise has ended, you will take your own transportation less than 1.5 miles from the Riverie dock over to the National Susan B Anthony Museum & House, exploring all three floors of Susan B Anthony’s National Historic Landmark home while learning her incredible story from one of our knowledgeable and passionate docents. Your guided experience will include walking outside and navigating two staircases. One of the many highlights of your tour will be to visit the front parlor, the room where Susan B. Anthony was arrested for voting in the 1872 presidential election.
This class is appropriate for all ages, although anyone under the age of 18 should be accompanied by an adult. Please purchase one ticket per person attending.
This class will take place at Rochester By Water, located at 280 Exchange Blvd, Rochester, NY 14608.
If you would like to request a sign language interpreter, will be attending class with an aide, or have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc), please fill out our contact form.
Class ticket purchases are non-refundable for any reason. A transfer into a different class of equal or greater value may be granted if requested at least 72 hours prior to the class date. Students are always welcome to have someone attend in their place, too!
While we know this is not always ideal, as a small business this is the only way we can ensure our teachers are paid for their time and supplies and our venues are paid rent for their space. We appreciate your support!
