Add botanical beauty to your home and boost your plant parenting skills in this terrarium class! Learn to create and care for your own air plant terrarium using a provided 6" round glass bowl and a variety of organic decorative accents (mosses, lichens, flowers, seashells, minerals, sand, pebbles, and more). You'll also receive two air plants, which thrive on air and occasional watering, making them both beautiful and easy to maintain. By the end of this calming, nature-filled experience, you'll have a stunning botanical piece for your desk or shelf, or a unique gift for loved ones.
Please note: You are invited to bring your own bring your own miniature decorative accents to personalize your terrarium.
This class is appropriate for all ages, although anyone under the age of 12 should be accompanied by an adult. Please purchase one ticket per person attending.
This class will take place at Arc + Flame Center, located at 125 Fedex Way, Rochester, NY 14624.
If you would like to request a sign language interpreter, will be attending class with an aide, or have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc), please fill out our contact form. Arc + Flame Center is fully ADA accessible.
Class ticket purchases are non-refundable for any reason. A transfer into a different class of equal or greater value may be granted if requested at least 72 hours prior to the class date. Students are always welcome to have someone attend in their place, too!
While we know this is not always ideal, as a small business this is the only way we can ensure our teachers are paid for their time and supplies and our venues are paid rent for their space. We appreciate your support!

Meet the Teacher
Sigriet “Sig” Ferrer launched Prismatic Gardens in 2013, giving outward expression to her lifelong obsession with botany, science, and curiosities of all kinds. Sig is an active member of the artisan community with a deep-rooted passion for learning and more than a decade’s experience. She regularly leads terrarium workshops, designs custom botanicals, exhibits gallery installations, and appears at art and fine craft shows across the United States.
