Thursday, January 13th | 6:00pm-8:00pm | Knitting 101

Learn the basics of knitting and set yourself up to become a knitting pro! Students will learn the knit, purl, and rib stitches in this quick beginner sampler. With these skills, you can take on almost any project! Yarn and needles will be provided and you'll be able to take them home so you can practice your knitting.

This class is appropriate for ages 14+.

This class will take place at Rochester Brainery, located at 176 Anderson Ave F109, Rochester, NY 14607.

About the teacher:
Kayla Carpitella has been obsessed with making things since she was a kid. Her strange and exciting freelance career includes knitting for the knitwear designer DEGEN, Joe Fresh, Adult Swim, and Heluva Good Cheese. She has taught hand and machine knitting, crochet, and macrame at the Textile Arts Center in Brooklyn, and is excited about spreading the knitting love in Rochester from her studio in the Hungerford.
