While we know this is not always ideal, as a small business this is the only way we can ensure our teachers are paid for their time and supplies and our venues are paid rent for their space. We appreciate your support!

Lauren Mohn holds a PhD in Botany and is a Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT). After years in ethnobotanical research, teaching, and outreach, she came to learn that the core of her work has always been supporting others in deepening connections with the natural world. She co-founded Lilac Nature Connection with Elio Lewis to focus on this more directly. As a forest bathing guide, Lauren offers space for people to slow down and reconnect with nature in ways we’re all capable of, ways that can support both our wellbeing and the wellbeing of the land.
Tucked within Mendon Ponds Park, the Quaker Ponds Trail offers a peaceful loop through wetlands, woodlands, and gentle rolling terrain. The trail winds past quiet ponds and open meadows, making it a great spot for observing birds, seasonal wildflowers, and changing light throughout the year. Its well-maintained paths and serene setting create an inviting outdoor classroom, perfect for slowing down, tuning in, and learning in nature.
