Join Kasia and Christianne for an eight-week journey exploring the vital connection between the expansive rhythm of your breath and the structural integrity of your bones. While each class highlights one of our specific specialties, every session is a cohesive experience that honors the relationship between your internal space and your physical foundation. This series follows a clear arc of discovery. Yet, each class is designed to stand alone, allowing you to purchase a two-session "sample" to experience both teachers or commit to the full eight-week journey at a discounted rate. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned mover, you will walk away with practical tools to inhabit your body more intentionally and navigate the push-and-pull of daily life with greater resilience. You will leave feeling both anchored in your frame and free in your breath.
Please note: Please select your class attendance preference in the dropdown. Students enrolled in the 2-class sampler will be enrolled in this series' first two sessions on 5/12 and 5/19 from 6:00PM-7:15PM. Students enrolled in the full series must be available Tuesday, 5/12, 5/19, 5/26, 6/2, 6/9, 6/16, 6/23, and 6/30 from 6:00PM-7:15PM.
This class is appropriate for ages 21+.
This class will take place at The Assisi Institute, located at 1400 N Winton Road, Rochester, NY 14609. Please park in The Assisi Institute main entrance parking lot, opposite the intersection of Hurstbourne Rd. From the main entrance, take an immediate left into The Assisi Instituteโs main lot, directly in front of the building. You will see a purple Yoga banner.
If you would like to request a sign language interpreter, will be attending class with an aide, or have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc), please fill out our contact form.
Class ticket purchases are non-refundable for any reason. A transfer into a different class of equal or greater value may be granted if requested at least 72 hours prior to the class date. Students are always welcome to have someone attend in their place, too!
While we know this is not always ideal, as a small business this is the only way we can ensure our teachers are paid for their time and supplies and our venues are paid rent for their space. We appreciate your support!

Meet the Teacher
Kasia Pelepko (RYT 500) has been practicing yoga in some form since her college days, when she took her first class. It immediately felt fresh yet familiar. Ten years later, she became a teacher, hoping she could offer others those subtle gifts of yoga that continue to give when practiced with dedication and intention. Though she has always been most drawn to the more subtle, philosophical realms the yoga practice offers, she thrives on learning the current understanding of how our bodies and minds work; her most recent continuing education studies are focused on pain science and yoga biomechanics.
Christianne Asper-Contant (CAS, E-RYT 500) is the Director of Assisi Yoga and a Clinical Ayurveda Specialist who has been studying and teaching the wisdom sciences for over 20 years. She integrates these sister sciences and psychology into a practical framework for resilience in contemporary life. Christianne translates โNatural Intelligenceโ into practical, embodied tools that help you navigate everyday demands with clarity and steadiness. Her classes prioritize nervous system regulation and functional alignment, offering practices youโll carry with you well beyond the mat. Come curious โ leave regulated.
