Ready to build on your metalsmithing skills? This continuing class is designed for students who have taken an introductory course (or have basic metalsmithing experience) and are ready to expand their techniques and tackle more personalized projects. Build on foundational skills like sawing, soldering, and forming while exploring new methods with plenty of hands-on guidance and studio time. Bring your ideas, experiment with new techniques, and create one-of-a-kind wearable pieces in a supportive, creative environment.
Please note: This six-session course meets on July 22, July 29, August 5, August 19, August 26, and September 2 from 6:00PM–9:00PM. Students should plan to attend all six sessions.
This class is appropriate for ages 16+.
This class will take place at Arc + Flame Center, located at 125 Fedex Way, Rochester, NY 14624.
If you would like to request a sign language interpreter, will be attending class with an aide, or have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc), please fill out our contact form.
Class ticket purchases are non-refundable for any reason. A transfer into a different class of equal or greater value may be granted if requested at least 72 hours prior to the class date. Students are always welcome to have someone attend in their place, too!
While we know this is not always ideal, as a small business this is the only way we can ensure our teachers are paid for their time and supplies and our venues are paid rent for their space. We appreciate your support!
