Please note: An apron will be provided during class, but wear clothes you don’t mind cooking in. If you’d like to request a gluten-free option, please fill out our contact form in advance. A vegan option is not available for this class at this time. Please be aware that the kitchen is not an allergen-free environment.
This class is appropriate for ages 14+. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please purchase one ticket for each person attending.
This class will take place at The Commissary, located inside Sibley Square at 250 E Main St, Rochester, NY 14604.
If you would like to request a sign language interpreter, will be attending class with an aide, or have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc), please fill out our contact form.
Class ticket purchases are non-refundable for any reason. A transfer into a different class of equal or greater value may be granted if requested at least 72 hours prior to the class date. Students are always welcome to have someone attend in their place, too!
While we know this is not always ideal, as a small business this is the only way we can ensure our teachers are paid for their time and supplies and our venues are paid rent for their space. We appreciate your support!

Meet the Teacher
Christin Ortiz has been working in restaurants since she was 19. Most recently Christin ran the food program at Joe Bean Roastery, where she focused the menu on her Latin-American heritage. She loves sharing her passion for food, and wants everyone to be able to cook the food they crave!
