Alessandra Otero (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and librarian from Puerto Rico, now based in New York’s Finger Lakes region. She began her formal journey in the arts at 18, earning a BA in Art History and continuing to expand her creative practice across disciplines. Her work is rooted in everyday field studies, neighborhood walks, time in the kitchen, and quiet observation of fruits, herbs, and plants, which inform both her imagery and her handmade pigments. Alessandra gathers inspiration from these daily rituals to create art that feels grounded, sensory, and alive. She is passionate about sharing her creative process and inspiring others to explore their own artistic curiosity.
