Terms & Conditions and Service

All Rochester Brainery class tickets are non-refundable for any reason, including but not limited to non-attendance, scheduling conflicts, illness, or personal emergencies.

Transfers
A transfer into a different class of equal or greater value may be granted if requested at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled class start time. Transfer requests made within 72 hours of the class are not guaranteed.

Substitutions
If you are unable to attend, you are always welcome to send someone in your place at no additional cost.

Cancellations by Brainery
In the rare event that Brainery must cancel a class, registrants will be offered either:

  • A transfer into a future class of equal value, or
  • A refund, as required by applicable New York State law.

It is your responsibility to know the date, time, location and any other pertinent information regarding your class. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and agree to this policy at the time of sale.

Class Description

Bring your group together for a relaxing and creative private glass fusing workshop, perfect for company retreats, team-building events, or personal celebrations. This hands-on experience offers a meaningful way to connect while exploring color, design, and artistic expression in a supportive environment.

Participants will learn the basics of glass fusing as they design and assemble their own custom sun catcher. Working with vibrant glass pieces, you’ll explore how to arrange, layer, and compose your design while being guided through essential techniques and safety practices. No prior experience is needed, just bring your group and your creativity.

After the session, your pieces will be kiln-fired and finished into beautiful sun catchers that catch and transform light. Your group will leave with a handcrafted piece of art and a shared memory of a thoughtful, creative experience together.

What You Need to Wear/Prepare:
Closed-toe shoes are required for safety. Comfortable clothing is recommended. All materials, tools, and safety equipment are provided.

Skill Level / Physical Level:
Beginner-friendly. Light, detail-focused creative work involving arranging and designing glass (no hot working during the event).
