Terms & Conditions and Service

All Rochester Brainery class tickets are non-refundable for any reason, including but not limited to non-attendance, scheduling conflicts, illness, or personal emergencies.

Transfers
A transfer into a different class of equal or greater value may be granted if requested at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled class start time. Transfer requests made within 72 hours of the class are not guaranteed.

Substitutions
If you are unable to attend, you are always welcome to send someone in your place at no additional cost.

Cancellations by Brainery
In the rare event that Brainery must cancel a class, registrants will be offered either:

  • A transfer into a future class of equal value, or
  • A refund, as required by applicable New York State law.

It is your responsibility to know the date, time, location and any other pertinent information regarding your class. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and agree to this policy at the time of sale.

Bring a touch of nature into your space with this relaxing, hands-on private terrarium workshop. Perfect for creative gatherings, team-building events, or personal celebrations, this experience is a calming way to connect while learning how to design and care for your own miniature botanical display.

Guests will create a custom air plant terrarium using a 6" round glass bowl and a curated selection of natural decorative elements such as mosses, lichens, flowers, seashells, minerals, sand, and pebbles. You’ll also receive two air plants, known for thriving on air and occasional watering, making them both beautiful and easy to care for. Along the way, you’ll learn design principles, layering techniques, and simple plant care basics. No experience is needed, this is a beginner-friendly, guided creative workshop.

By the end of the event, you’ll leave with a finished living terrarium that brings a natural, modern accent to any space, or makes a thoughtful handmade gift.

What You Need to Wear/Prepare:
No experience needed. Comfortable clothing is recommended. All materials, tools, and decorative elements are provided.

Skill Level / Physical Level:
Beginner-friendly. Light, hands-on creative work involving arranging natural materials and assembling a terrarium.

  • Learn the basics of air plant care and terrarium design
  • Arrange sand, stones, moss, and natural accents in a glass bowl
