GTAW (TIG) welding is prized for its precision, versatility, and clean, high-quality welds, making it the preferred process for automotive fabrication, motorsports, aerospace, custom fabrication, artistic metalwork, and other projects where strength and appearance matter. Throughout this comprehensive, multi-week night course, you'll build a strong foundation as you learn how to safely set up and operate a TIG welder, understand machine settings, control the torch and filler rod, and develop the coordination needed to produce consistent, precise welds. As your skills progress, you'll practice a variety of welding techniques, improve weld quality, and gain the confidence to tackle increasingly challenging projects. With plenty of guided hands-on instruction and individual coaching, you'll leave the course with the knowledge and experience to continue advancing your TIG welding skills on your own.
Please note: All safety equipment, tools, and materials are included. This is a five-week, 30-hour course held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00PM-9:00PM. Students are expected to attend the full session. Upon completion, students will receive a Certificate of Completion. This certificate does not constitute a professional or career certification.
This class is appropriate for ages 18+.
This class will take place at Arc + Flame Center, located at 125 Fedex Way, Rochester, NY 14624.

While we know this is not always ideal, as a small business this is the only way we can ensure our teachers are paid for their time and supplies and our venues are paid rent for their space. We appreciate your support!
