This immersive 4-week course is your hands-on introduction to the art of glass, and perfect for beginners ready to try something new! You’ll learn core techniques like cutting and fusing glass, shaping by building up or drawing down, keeping a clean gather, and working with a punty or cold seal. Put your new skills into practice as you create projects designed to build a strong glass-fusing foundation! You’ll start with simple forms like hearts and teardrops, then work your way up to playful pieces like fish and hummingbirds, finishing more than a dozen projects. Alongside expert guidance, this course blends clear demos, supportive instruction, and plenty of time to experiment and learn by doing!

Please Note: This is an eight-session workshop; students must be available on March 3rd, 5th, 10th, 12th, 17th, 19th, 24th, and 26th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. To avoid damage, projects will be available for pickup 1-2 weeks after class.

This class is appropriate for ages 5+, although anyone under the age of 18 should be accompanied by an adult.
