All Rochester Brainery class tickets are non-refundable for any reason, including but not limited to non-attendance, scheduling conflicts, illness, or personal emergencies.

Transfers
A transfer into a different class of equal or greater value may be granted if requested at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled class start time. Transfer requests made within 72 hours of the class are not guaranteed.

Substitutions
If you are unable to attend, you are always welcome to send someone in your place at no additional cost.

Cancellations by Brainery
In the rare event that Brainery must cancel a class, registrants will be offered either:

  • A transfer into a future class of equal value, or
  • A refund, as required by applicable New York State law.

It is your responsibility to know the date, time, location and any other pertinent information regarding your class. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and agree to this policy at the time of sale.

Class Description

Bring your group together for a hands-on, Latin-inspired cooking experience designed for team-building, celebrations, or meaningful private gatherings. This interactive event is all about connection, collaboration, and creating a delicious shared meal from scratch in a relaxed, guided kitchen setting.

Your group will work together to prepare golden, flaky potato and black bean empanadas, alongside classic seasoned rice and a fresh avocado salad. To finish, you’ll collaborate on a rich and creamy tres leches cake for dessert. This beginner-friendly experience focuses on approachable techniques, teamwork, and enjoying the process as much as the final meal.

By the end of the event, your group will sit down together to enjoy a full homemade feast and leave with new cooking skills and a memorable shared experience.

What You Need to Wear/Prepare:
No experience needed. Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended. All ingredients, tools, and aprons are provided.

Skill Level / Physical Level:
Beginner-friendly. Light to moderate hands-on cooking including chopping, mixing, assembling, and baking.
