Experience a deeply immersive, full-body meditation led by a talented duo using a variety of instruments beyond traditional singing bowls. You’ll be “bathed” in rich, resonant sounds designed to promote relaxation and inner calm. The session will gently transition into Yoga Nidra, a guided practice often described as yogic sleep, to help you fully unwind. Afterward, there will be time for optional reflection, heart-sharing, and connection with others. This class is perfect for anyone looking to slow down, reset, and recharge.
Please note: Come as you are in comfortable clothing and plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early to get settled. A limited number of yoga mats, chairs, blankets, and bolsters are available, though you’re welcome to bring your own. A sealed water bottle and any personal props are also encouraged for comfort.
This class is appropriate for ages 21+.
This class will take place at The Assisi Institute, located at 1400 N Winton Road, Rochester, NY 14609. Please park in The Assisi Institute main entrance parking lot, opposite the intersection of Hurstbourne Rd. From the main entrance, take an immediate left into The Assisi Institute’s main lot, directly in front of the building. You will see a purple Yoga banner.
If you would like to request a sign language interpreter, will be attending class with an aide, or have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc), please fill out our contact form.
Class ticket purchases are non-refundable for any reason. A transfer into a different class of equal or greater value may be granted if requested at least 72 hours prior to the class date. Students are always welcome to have someone attend in their place, too!
While we know this is not always ideal, as a small business this is the only way we can ensure our teachers are paid for their time and supplies and our venues are paid rent for their space. We appreciate your support!
