Terms & Conditions and Service

All Brainery class tickets are non-refundable for any reason, including but not limited to non-attendance, scheduling conflicts, illness, or personal emergencies.

Brainery classes are ticketed, event-based experiences. As is standard across the event and workshop industry, instructors are compensated and venues are reserved based on tickets sold, not attendance. This policy allows us to fairly compensate our instructors, cover material costs, and pay our venue partners.

It is your responsibility to know the date, time, location and any other pertinent information regarding your class.

Transfers
A transfer into a different class of equal or greater value may be granted if requested at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled class start time. Transfer requests made within 72 hours of the class are not guaranteed.

Substitutions
If you are unable to attend, you are always welcome to send someone in your place at no additional cost.

Cancellations by Brainery
In the rare event that Brainery must cancel a class, registrants will be offered either:

  • A transfer into a future class of equal value, or
  • A refund, as required by applicable New York State law.

By purchasing a ticket, customers acknowledge and agree to this policy at the time of sale.

Upstate Social Sessions Through The Lens Of Dan Gribbin

Upstate Social Sessions Through The Lens Of Dan Gribbin

On Halloween 2015, just a few days ago, a project we've been working on for months came to be. Upstate Social Sessions was a day to inspire and educate the community on the value of social media in our personal and professional lives, held at School of the Arts. We had a blast!

You may recognize Dan Gribbin's name from teaching web development classes for us, but did you also know he is a photographer? We're showing off his talents and giving you a look into #UpstateSocial15 right here in this fine photo blog.

Special thanks to Leah Stacy, Breanna Banford, Sydney Bell and Steve Carter for co-organizing Upstate Social Sessions with us and Justin Dusett and Dan Gribbin for being our design and web everythings! Many thanks as well goes out to our amazing presenting sponsor, Brand Networks, as well as Post Rochester, Yelp Rochester, Explore Rochester and Livelio.

Stay tuned for news on Upstate Social Sessions 2016. Oh yeah. It's happening.
