With so much fun and mingling packed into just a few hours, it's easy to feel like your bridal shower flew by. Enter: photos! Whether they're taken by a professional or a friend with a phone, photos can be a great reminder of the day so you can look back at all of those memories (and carefully planned details!).

We were delighted when Rebecca Stockslader reached out to share the photos taken by Colburn Creative at her bridal shower, held at our space in early May. Bonus... Not only did she share her photos with us, but also her thoughts and a few shout-outs to her vendors (Thank you, Rebecca!). Check it out.

Venue

Rochester Brainery was SO easy to work with any everything turned out beautiful. Leading up to the day I had ample communication and all my questions were answered so quickly! Day of, everyone was so helpful from directing us in the set up, to putting on a perfect background playlist. The space itself is so simplistic and bright which makes it perfect for a bridal shower and I wouldn’t change a thing. Many of my guests had not been to Rochester Brainery prior to the shower and I think they found it to be a very unique and different location than a typical shower.

Food

Jason and his team at Edibles Restaurant on University took care of the food and they did an amazing job. I cannot say enough good things about Jason and how easy he is to work with. He took my ideas and ramblings and turned them into a custom menu for my shower. His staff on the day of were great, taking care of every little detail. The mimosa bar set up was also a huge hit with my guests, and I got so many compliments on how delicious the food was. Jason and his staff have provided services at the venue many times and they are very familiar with the set up of the event which made everything extremely smooth.

Photography

The team at Colburn Creative (Bethany and Christian) were a JOY to work with. Bethany was so helpful leading up to the event, answering every question I had. Day of, Christian was on site and captured photos of all of my guests and the entire essence of the event. The album I received the next day had over 200 gorgeous images of my shower and all the attendees. It was so special to have all of these images of all the important women in my life. Christian managed to get photos of EVERYTHING but I barely even noticed him taking all of the photos. Their work is amazing and I cannot recommend them enough!

Desserts

Get Caked Bakery in Village Gate provided delicious cupcakes and rice krispie treats that the guests raved about. Not only were they beautiful and color coordinated to my theme, but they were also extremely delicious.

RachBakesCookies provided the gorgeous cookie favors which she hand crafted in a beautiful terrarium design. Rachael took a cookie decorating class at Rochester Brainery and was inspired to take her skill to the next level. She now does custom cookies for various events and her work is extremely beautiful, and delicious!
